Top-Performing St. Tammany Parish Schools by 2024 LEAP Scores
As the 2024 school year begins, the latest LEAP test scores have been released, shedding light on the academic performance of schools across St. Tammany Parish. The LEAP tests, administered annually to students in grades three through high school, offer insights into how schools are helping students recover academically following the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. In math, Tchefuncte Middle School again stood out, with 72% of students excelling, while E.E. Lyon Elementary made significant strides in supporting economically disadvantaged students, achieving a 48% proficiency rate.
